About Glen

I became a trainer because I was fascinated by one question.

Why do some people keep getting stronger and more capable as they age, while others slowly fall apart doing everything they’re supposed to do?

After 15 years and hundreds of clients, I have a pretty clear answer. It’s not effort. It’s not genetics. It’s not even age. It’s whether the approach actually fits the person.

I built the DRIVE Method to solve that problem.

The DRIVE method

Most training programs make the same three mistakes.

01

What helps one person breaks another.

There is no universal prescription for the human body. What works brilliantly for one person can quietly make things worse for someone else — not because of effort or discipline, but because their body is genuinely different. The fitness industry ignores this almost completely. You were never the problem. You just had the wrong prescription.

02

Your body has its own unique compensations. Most programs never find  them.

Every shift, every hitch, every movement your body quietly reroutes is working around a weak spot specific to you. Most programs pile more load on top of those patterns without ever identifying them. The weak spots get weaker, the compensations get worse, and the pain follows. Building strength and stability in the right places — your places — changes that entirely.

03

The most important question in fitness isn’t how you want to look in twelve weeks.

It’s what you want to be capable of at 75. Whether you’re still hiking, still travelling, still getting on the floor with your grandchildren and back up again without incident. That’s the long game. And the long game requires working backwards from that vision right now — not chasing a short-term result that disappears the moment the program ends.

The DRIVE Method exists because those three mistakes are fixable — and honestly, pretty inexcusable at this point. It’s a structured framework built around one idea: your training should fit your body, your history, and the life you’re actually trying to build. Not a generic plan with your name slapped on the cover.

Personal Training

Exercise designed for the life you want.

Most people who find their way to personal training
have already tried the other stuff. The programs.
The apps. The YouTube rabbit holes. They’ve put in
the work. Something just isn’t adding up.

That’s usually where I come in.

My clients are active adults — people who take their health seriously, have real demands on their time, and want training that’s actually built around them. Not adapted for them. Built for them so they can move confidently through life.

SPEAKING AND PODCASTS

One conversation can change the next thirty years

Most people who’ve been active their whole lives hit a point where effort stops being the answer. They’re not less motivated. They’re not less disciplined. The approach just doesn’t fit the body they’re living
in anymore.

Strength built in the right places, in the right sequence, at the right time compounds quietly. It shows up years later as the person who still moves freely in their 70’s and 80’s. It happens by design — and earlier than most people think to start. Let’s talk about it.
