Your Body Is Telling you Something
The Strong Life Scorecard Tells You What, In just 2 minutes
About Glen
I’ve been a personal trainer for over 15 years and I still find it strange when people apologize for aging.
Like it’s their fault their back hurts. Like slowing down is just what happens and they should accept it.
I don’t buy that.
Most of the pain, stiffness, and limitation I see in clients isn’t age. It’s a gap. A gap between what their body can do and what their life actually demands. Close that gap and the pain eases, the confidence comes back, and things that felt impossible start feeling routine.
That’s what I do. And I built the DRIVE Method to do it systematically.
Elevate Every Audience
Looking for a guest who won’t just talk about protein and sleep?
I bring something specific to the table — a framework, a point of view, and 13 years of frontline experience translating complex exercise science into ideas that actually stick.
I talk about why most fitness advice fails people over 40. Why effort isn’t the problem. Why the fitness industry keeps making the same three mistakes and charging people for the privilege. And what a smarter, more honest approach to long-term health actually looks like.
I work in the space between peer-reviewed research and what actually works on the gym floor — because both matter, and neither tells the whole story alone.
If that sounds like someone your audience would enjoy listening to — let’s talk.
The DRIVE Method
Most training programs make the same three mistakes.
One. They treat a 55-year-old with arthritis the same as a 25-year-old rugby player. Same program. Same expectations. Completely different humans. But sure…let’s just see what happens.
Two. When something isn’t working, the answer is always more. More reps. More intensity. More discipline. The program is never the problem. Apparently, you just need to try harder. Again.
Three. They’re built for the next twelve weeks. Nobody’s asking what you actually want to be capable of 5, 10, 20 years from now. You get a program that ends on a date, not one that’s pointed at anything that actually matters long term.
The DRIVE Method exists because those three mistakes are fixable.
It’s a structured framework built around one idea — that your training should fit your body, your history, and the life you’re actually trying to build. Not a generic plan with your name on it.
Personal Training
Most people who find their way to personal training have already tried the other stuff. The programs. The apps. The YouTube rabbit holes. They’ve put in the work. Something just isn’t adding up.
That’s usually where I come in.
My clients are active adults — people who take their health seriously, have real demands on their time, and want training that’s actually built around them. Not adapted for them. Built for them.
